19th World Rogaining Championships - Spain

The 2025 World Rogaining Championships were hosted in Quintanar de la Sierra, Spain by the Tjalve and IbeRogaine clubs.

An excellent course with beautiful forest and grassy high hills challenged rogainers to pick the optimal course for their strengths. Hills, technical navigation, forest tracks and rocks all provided teams with opportunities to show their skills or to spend time working through the problems of where they were. Many water drops, an All NIght Cafe and big points to be had on the hills meant many teams stayed out all night with lights twinkling all over the course.

World Rogaining Championships for 2027 awarded to Australia

The International Rogaining Federation has announced that the 20th World Rogaining Championships will be hosted by the Australian Rogaining Association. The Championships are planned for 16-17 September, 2027 in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia near Wilpena Pound, a spectacular and popular destination for visitors from around the world.
The course will offer technically challenging navigation amidst spectacular scenery.

World Rogaining Championships

The World Rogaining Championships (WRC) are the championships of the International Rogaining Federation. As the sport's premier event, the World Rogaining Championships are for the benefit of everyone in the sport: for elite competitors, for organizers, for administrators, and as a meeting focus for rogaining enthusiasts.

Technical

The International Rogaining Federation provides the forum to agree on technical facets of rogaining. We maintain a code and rules of Rogaining that govern the World Rogaining Championships and provide the basis for member country rules.

Member Resources

The International Rogaining Federation provides support for member countries organizing events and other developing countries establishing new rogaining associations.
